A Historic Home with a New Role
The Terry-Taylor House
An Office with History and Heart
Where We Work

Our law office sits in the heart of downtown Pittsboro, but it’s more than just a place to meet with clients—it’s part of the town’s history. The Terry-Taylor House, where we’ve proudly built our practice, is one of Chatham County’s oldest surviving homes and a well-loved local landmark.
Built in the 1830s, the home originally stood on the outskirts of town. In 2011, when Chatham County began expanding its judicial center, the structure was moved to its current location—just steps from the courthouse. That’s when we stepped in to preserve it.
We worked with local craftspeople to restore the house with care, maintaining its original charm while making it a comfortable, welcoming place for our family law and estate planning clients. Today, it reflects the values we bring to our work: respect for what came before, attention to detail, and a commitment to long-term outcomes.
We’re proud to be part of the building’s next chapter—and even prouder to share this space with the community we serve.
